Job Description
Our client, a global leader in plastics manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Setup Technician to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of their advanced injection molding equipment.
Hiring on all shifts!Key Responsibilities:Operate hoists to pull and set molds accurately.Perform all material handling duties efficiently.Troubleshoot and complete all backside setup duties.Install and verify hot runner cables and other necessary components.Set up and verify EOAT (End of Arm Tooling) and load robot programs.Ensure the process setup checklist is completed and validated.Confirm cell layout matches specifications as per the blue book.Purge new materials and prepare equipment for startup.Execute simple start-ups under the guidance of a Process Technician.Ensure all materials and components from previous jobs are removed and the area is clean before starting new operations.Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization in the work area.Perform other related duties as assigned.Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a setup technician, die setter, or mold setter on injection molding equipment.Ability to pass certification for hilo, overhead crane, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.Proficiency in using hand tools.Preferences:Experience with advanced injection molding techniques.Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.Shift Availability:1st Shift: 7 am - 3 pm2nd Shift: 3 pm - 11 pm3rd Shift: 11 pm - 7 amWhy Join Our Client?
