This role is not eligible for equity opportunities, awards, or grants.Position OverviewAs a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in attracting and securing top talent for Foundation Building Materials' branch locations in a defined geography. You will be responsible for high volume / full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates to meet the staffing needs of our branch operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate Sourcing and Recruitment:Proactively source and recruit candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.Screen resumes, conduct phone screenings, and interview candidates to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the interview process.Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs within the defined geography.Develop and nurture relationships with passive candidates and industry professionals to expand the talent network.Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing:Represent Foundation Building Materials as an employer of choice by promoting our company culture, values, and career opportunities.Develop and implement recruitment marketing strategies to attract and engage candidates, including job postings, social media, employer branding initiatives, and participation in external events (i.e. Career Fairs).Candidate Experience and Onboarding:Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.Provide timely and transparent communication to candidates regarding their application status, interview feedback, and next steps.Collaborate with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and Department Heads to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.Data Management:Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including candidate profiles, interview feedback, and hiring metrics.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, with a focus on high-volume recruitment and branch operations.Strong sourcing and networking skills, with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates.Knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and employment laws.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software; Ceridian Dayforce a plus.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Experience supporting field operations or branch locations is a plus.Reports ToTalent Acquisition Manager - Field OperationsFBM
