If In Process status, please provide the applied date and estimated issue date.## Certifications:ACLS & PALS required## Must-Have:- Some pediatric experience- WA license status details- Detailed interview availability in the submission## Job Description:- Handle 15% pediatric patients in a free-standing emergency department environment- Perform roles typically covered in a hospital setting such as Respiratory Therapy and pharmacy, including: - Breathing Treatments, Chest Tube Set-up/Care, CPAP/BiPap, High-Frequency Vents - Procedure Sedation, RSI - Rapid Sequence Intubation Drugs - Trach Care, Vents - Blood/Blood Products Administration - Cardioversion / Defibrillation - Obtain 12 Lead EKG - PA Lines, Rapid Infuser, Tele Interpretation - Management of Drains, Feeding Tubes - PICC/Central Lines, Port-A-Cath/Vascular Device Access/Care - Syringe Pumps, Triple Lumen Catheter- Utilize Adult/Pediatric ER Ambulance Triage equipment and systems- Maintain a staffing ratio of 1:4- Float to different units within the scope of practice if needed, and travel to other facilities within a 40-mile radius required. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. ## Orientation:40 hours of non-billable orientation provided. Note : COVID-19 Vaccine is required, but medical/religious exemptions are allowed. Flu vaccine status is unknown. Must have full-year references covering employment within the last 3 years on file prior to submission.
