The ideal candidate will have experience operating press brakes, reading blueprints, and following safety protocols. This position is crucial in producing high-quality metal components for various industries. Responsibilities: Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form metal sheets according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and other technical documents to determine bending requirements. Select and install appropriate tooling for various bending operations. Adjust machine settings and controls to achieve desired bend angles and tolerances. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality. Inspect finished parts for defects and conformance to specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment. Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals. Qualifications: Previous experience as a brake press operator in a job shop environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately. Knowledge of metal properties and bending techniques. Proficiency in using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Ability to lift heavy materials. Strong work ethic and team player attitude.
