Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Care Job Duration: 12 months Shift: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care. Preferred: Seven years of recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care (within last 10 years). License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS)- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have: ACLS certification; recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care. Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill neonates in the NICU.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.- Monitor and assess the health status of neonates, managing changes in their condition.- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while observing for any adverse reactions.- Educate and support families through difficult situations, ensuring they are informed and involved in decision-making.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in neonatal care.- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care.- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols.
