Your efforts will directly impact the success of our tech projects, benefiting both our staff and members. location: Austin, Texas job type: Permanent salary: $80,000 - 95,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: ? Be a partner with business owners to determine and develop user requirements using interviews, documentation reviews, and workshops ? Consolidate information obtained from various sources to build a broad view of business processes, identifying dependencies, redundancies, and cross functional impacts ? Lead requirement gathering sessions to document current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs; serve as the translator between business area users and technical staff ? Create use cases to illustrate the business needs and provide insights from a business users viewpoint during design discussions ? Design and document \"as-is\" and \"to be\" business processes, leading to clear understanding of requirements How You will Make an Impact ? Work together with IT team members to evaluate current or prospective solutions and make sure they support business objectives ? Manage and participate in user testing and training for new technology and solutions ? Provide an outstanding customer experience ? Mentor and work with other business analysts as required Skills for Success ? At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting multiple projects ? Intellectual curiosity and confidence in questioning existing business practices ? Experience with custom software development, Software as a Service (SaaS) or integration projects ? Familiarity in organizing and managing a product backlog ? Comfortable working independently or within a large, cross-functional team ? Experience at creating professional documentation using MS Office tools ? Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university ?
