Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2+ years License: RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: Experience in Medical ICU, cardio drips, insulin drips Job Description: - Work in a medical ICU environment.- Provide care for patients with conditions such as DKA, sepsis, seizure disorders, respiratory failure, post-surgical recovery, and stroke.- Operate various medical equipment, including Fresenius dialysis machines, Phillips bedside monitors, Baxter IV pumps, and Sapphire PCA pumps, among others.- Document and manage patient records through the Cerner EMR system.- Collaborate effectively with team members and exhibit a team-player attitude.- Employ expertise in managing mixed acuity patients occasionally.- Adhere to unit dress code: Galaxy Blue scrubs with black bottoms; avoid hoodies and t-shirts.- Fulfill weekend shifts every other weekend.- Maintain required certifications and renew them as necessary. Preferred Skills/Experience: - Familiarity with the Cerner EMR system.- Experience with dialysis procedures. Personality Fit: - Candidates should be team players who work collaboratively with others.
