Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.DescriptionCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level software integration engineer who shall be responsible for supporting the team and mission services. The team provides several containerized services that customers can provision and access on demand inside of a Kubernetes cluster. Some of the services include Gitlab CI/CD, Jupyter Notebooks, MinIO, and several other products. The Software Integration Engineer shall perform maintenance and troubleshooting of containerized applications, upgrade services, and assist customers using the CCE. Additional tasking shall include customer support to CCE customers across several Hustle channels and via help desk tickets.RequirementsSecurity Clearance:Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizenMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.The individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience.An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience.A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.Required Skills:Experience with Linux CLIExperience with Bash/Python scriptingExperience creating containerized applications/services using Docker/containersExperience updating containerized applications to address STE/STN requirementsExperience migrating applications into containerized environmentsExperience with creating Helm Charts for KubernetesExperience with deploying and maintaining services on KubernetesExperience with creating and managing Gitlab CI/CD pipelinesExperience providing customer outreach and troubleshooting supportExperience transitioning applications and services to AWSExperience with Git Source Control SystemDesired Skills:Experience with the Atlassian Tool suite including Confluence and JiraWillingness to demonstrate functionality to the CCE user community as neededThis position is open for direct hires only.
