About Us:
Our client is a leading automotive dealership, known for their exceptional customer service and a wide range of high-quality vehicles. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to join their finance team team. This role is essential for maintaining the financial integrity of our dealership and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities of the Accountant:

• Prepare and execute month-end reporting
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Monitor and report on financial performance, including key metrics such as gross profit, expenses, and net income.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights to management.

Qualifications of the Dealership Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an automotive dealership or similar industry.
• Proficiency in dealership management software (e.g., Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK Global) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and automotive accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with all dealership departments.
• CPA or similar certification is a plus but not required.
