Overview of the Accounting Manager role:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
- Prepare quarterly budgets and financial forecasts with budget performance monitoring
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Supervise and mentor the accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor and control costs to ensure financial sustainability
Preferred qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Keen attention to detailed accuracy
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
