Accounting Manager

Position Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee their financial operations within the manufacturing sector. This role will be responsible for managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliation processes while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities for Accounting Manager:

• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and monthly close activities.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budget forecasts, cash flow statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Oversee reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and financial planning.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing training and support as needed.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings.

Qualifications for Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
