Job Summary

The Accounting Manager will oversee all financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the efficient management of the company's financial resources. The successful candidate will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and the development of financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.




Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage and monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards (GAAP, tax laws, etc.).
  • Conduct cost accounting analysis related to production and inventory management, including job costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior management on financial strategies, budgeting, and performance improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring continuous development and optimal performance.
  • Coordinate and oversee external audits, tax preparation, and other financial reviews.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
  • Assist with the development of long-term financial goals, risk management strategies, and investment opportunities.
  • Provide insights on financial trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or plastics/injection molding industries.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and cost accounting principles is a plus.

Compensation $70,000 - 90,000 annually, plus bonus potential.
