Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Conduct variance analysis on financial data.
- Assist with inventory accounting and costing, specific to the manufacturing industry.
- Prepare tax filings and ensure timely payment of obligations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
