Responsibilities of the Financial Audit Manager
- Oversee all aspects of internal and external financial reporting for the Finance Department.
- Coordinate and prepare the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Manage and supervise staff assignments, including selection, placement, promotion, safety, appraisal, training, and discipline.
- Lead the coordination of internal and external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Implement new GASB standards and other authoritative financial regulations.
- Prepare and coordinate quarterly and ad-hoc financial reports for presentations to administrative staff and relevant stakeholders, in compliance with organizational policies.
What the company needs in a Financial Audit Manager
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred. (+)
- 5+ years of GAAP experience
- Government Industry experience and/or public accounting experience
Salary 90,000-120,000
