Are you an experienced payroll and benefits professional looking for an opportunity to make an impact in a supportive and collaborative environment? Our client is seeking a Benefits Coordinator to manage payroll, new hire paperwork, and employee terminations. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring smooth payroll operations and benefit administration for a team of 150 employees.Location: Waterford, CT
Pay Rate: Up to $30/hour
Start Date: Monday, November 11
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (In-office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 24-27 hours per week to start then the position will ramp up to full time)

Key Responsibilities of the Benefits Coordinator:
- The Benefits Coordinator will manage the full weekly payroll process
- Administer employee benefits, including onboarding new hires and processing terminations.
- Work closely with the HR Director to ensure compliance and accuracy in all employee-related documentation.
- Provide support to the team during onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations and maintain organized records of employee data.
Qualifications of the Benefits Coordinator:
- Proven experience in payroll management and benefits coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency in Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Ability to work well in a team, collaborate, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information.
