Our client, a well-established construction company in Fresno County, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is essential to supporting the financial operations of the company and ensuring accurate financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Reconcile bank accounts, maintain balance sheet schedules, and manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the accounting department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
