Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead their accounting operations and provide strategic financial insights. This role combines hands-on accounting oversight with high-level financial analysis and management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Manage the monthly close process and preparation of financial statements
- Lead tax preparation and compliance efforts
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports for executive leadership
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities
- Manage budgeting and planning processes
- Implement and optimize financial systems and processes
- Supervise and mentor accounting and finance team members
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including team management
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
- Experience in financial modeling and data analysis
