Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations and guiding our accounting team to success.
- Overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
- Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Leading month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance
- Mentoring and coaching team members to foster professional growth and enhance productivity
Qualifications of the Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
- Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills
