About the Company and Opportunity:

The company has been extremely successful and stable with continued year-over-year growth. Our logistics client is looking for a collaborative and hands on Controller to join the senior leadership team. This role will be mentored by and train directly with the CFO of the organization.

Overview of the Controller role:

• Complete journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations
• Maintain all general ledger accounts, including reconciliations and variance analysis
• Develop the financial forecast as well as annual and quarterly budgets
• Intercompany accounting
• Initiate process improvement
• Take the lead on a software implementation opportunity

Preferred Qualifications for the Controller:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 15+ years of experience in an accounting or finance related function
• Public accounting experience

Salary and Benefits

• Base Pay of $120,000 to $130,000
• In office role near Independence
• Bonus eligibility
