About the Company and Opportunity: Business Operations Manager
- Our client is a design firm located in NE Portland who are looking to add a Business Operations Manager to their team.
- This position is the main contact for handling all facets of the finances

Overview of the role: Business Operations Manager
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner, including tax withholdings, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Handle all invoicing and billing processing.
- Process accounts payable and must be comfortable with bank reconciliations
- Oversee management and tracking of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plan (401K), and other perks; including coordination with external benefits providers and ensure employees receive necessary information
- Collaborate with firm Principals, Practice Managers, and Project Managers to track project budgets, costs, and profitability.
- Conduct monthly bookkeeping, asset tracking, billing and payroll activities.
Preferred Qualifications: Business Operations Manager
- Experience with Payroll and AP/AR are a must
- Knowledge of Paychex, DelTek Vantagepoint, Vision, or Ajera are a plus!
- Ability to stay focused and calm
