OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports in line with GAAP and non-profit regulations.
- The Senior Accountant will manage AP/AR, ensuring timely processing and reconciliations.
- Oversee grant management, compliance, and reporting to funders.
- The Senior Accountant will handle month-end and year-end closings, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist in audits and collaborate with program managers on budgeting efforts.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or similar certification preferred.
- non-profit experience a plus
