ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Salary $65,000- $80,000
Must reside in Pittsburgh, PA

• The Accounting Manager position has been newly created due to growth.

OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER ROLE:

• Implement and oversee accounting policies and procedures in compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• The Accounting Manager will supervise the Accounting Specialist, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable, credit card input, and payroll processes.
• Manage month-end reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting for staff and the board of directors.
• The Accounting Manager will maintain grant-related financial tracking and reporting for funders, consultants, and auditors.
• Collaborate with the VP of Operations & Finance on budgeting, audits, and HR functions, including payroll and benefits administration.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER ROLE:

• BA degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of financial management experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
• Ability to pass clearances for employment.
