Senior Accountant

Responsabilities;

• The Construction Cost Accountant will oversee the Project Cost Accounting function for construction projects and collaborate with Project Managers throughout the entire project cycle

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing financial documents and transactions related to contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and invoices in a timely and accurate manner

• Ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures and cost and accounting standards while performing day-to-day activities and functions

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Teams to complete tasks promptly

• Interact and communicate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure invoicing is submitted per contractual terms

• Perform vendor account reconciliations

• Maintain organized records of meetings, open items, and decisions

• Electronically maintain accurate, well-documented project records

• Review subcontractor A/R and Central's A/P reports as needed to keep payments on schedule

• Perform ad-hoc projects as required
