Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year

Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Engineering Maintenance Manager to join our thriving manufacturing organization. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that all of our machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the engineering maintenance team, ensuring that all maintenance activities are planned, implemented, and managed effectively. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime.
2. Develop and implement a robust preventive maintenance program to improve equipment reliability and performance.
3. Lead and manage the engineering maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
4. Collaborate with other departments to identify equipment needs and ensure that these are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
5. Monitor the performance of all machinery and equipment, identifying any issues and taking appropriate action to resolve them.
6. Work closely with the production team to optimize equipment usage and improve efficiency.
7. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies, implementing these into our operations where appropriate.
8. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
9. Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring that all activities are carried out cost-effectively.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Demonstrated experience with equipment and machine maintenance technologies.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues.
6. In-depth knowledge of safety and environmental regulations within the manufacturing industry.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various departments.
8. Proficient in the use of computer software, including maintenance management systems.
9. Ability to manage a budget effectively, with a focus on cost-saving strategies.
10. Willingness to stay current with industry trends and new technologies.
11. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
