- Overseeing the maintenance department and ensuring all equipment is functioning optimally.
- Designing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
- Troubleshooting and repairing issues with refrigeration, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ensuring that all maintenance activities adhere to established quality control standards.
- Responding to emergency breakdowns and resolving them in a timely manner.
- Managing RFP processes for equipment purchases and service contracts.
- Training and supervising maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with other departments to optimize production processes.
- Keeping abreast of the latest maintenance and engineering trends and technologies, applying them where beneficial to our operations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the engineering industry.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, quality control, and working with refrigeration and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in working with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Familiarity with RFP processes and managing production equipment.
- A degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
