Salary: $28 -$32/hr

Job Details
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to repair or replace parts.
  • Operate and maintain PLC programming for automated systems.
  • Inspect and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and diagrams to inform installation, developmental, and maintenance activities.
  • Manage hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring their optimum performance.
  • Conduct quality control checks and inspections, ensuring that machines and equipment meet set standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure effective and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within the engineering industry.
  • Proven experience with preventive maintenance, hand tools, PLC programming, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Proficiency in machine operation and welding.
  • Demonstrated ability in inspection and quality control.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and diagrams.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification or degree preferred.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift or move heavy machinery or equipment.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the engineering industry.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and be on call when necessary.
