AP Specialist Opportunity Overview:

In line with their growth, they are seeking a motivated AP Specialist to bolster their finance team and contribute to the company's success.

AP Specialist Role Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be a key player in managing and executing all facets of our client's accounts payable operations

Responsibilities include the handling of both international and domestic AP processing, ensuring efficient vendor setup and maintenance through W9, 1099 forms, and fostering clear communication with the purchasing and receiving departments

Additionally, the role encompasses credit card management and reconciliation, overseeing expense reports, and the management of account aging reviews.

AP Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Execute 3-way match for international and domestic accounts payable processes.
  • Manage W9, 1099, and vendor setup procedures efficiently.
  • Facilitate seamless communication with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of payables.
  • Oversee credit card transactions and perform reconciliation to maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare, review, and manage expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct aging reviews and manage accounts to prevent overdue payments.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve AP processes and systems.
AP Specialist Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing with a focus on full-cycle AP and 3-way matching processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with larger ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and flexibly manage workloads.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective vendor and team interactions.
  • Demonstrates a proactive, "roll-up your sleeves" and can-do attitude towards work.
  • Local Front Range candidates only, due to the specific needs of our client.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a drug screening as part of the employment process.
