Accounts Receivable Responsibilities for Accounts Receivable:
- Manages cash application through a bank lockbox or by incoming wires
- Oversees daily cash balancing between the bank and the company
- Works with the credit and collection department
- Research customer deductions and short pays by contacting the customer for backup
- Mails customer invoices
- Posts cash to and balance the general ledger
- Sends W-9 and sales tax forms when requested
- Issues or cancels checks for accounts payable
- Processes credit vouchers
Accounts Receivable Qualifications for Accounts Receivable:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant education or experience in accounting or a related field
- Associates Degree
- Intermediate Excel skills
The Accounts Receivable role is fully onsite in Akron, OH with a salary range of $41,600 - $52,000 depending on experience
