Overview of the Accounting Manager role:

• The Accounting Manager would be responsible for overall managing the accounting staff and the month end close process (including oversight of all JE's, preparation of some JE's, reviewing, financial statement preparation, financial analysis and reporting monthly
• Key player in preparing the annual budget
• Liaison with external audit at year end
• Active part in recommending process improvements and creating best practices
• Ad-hoc analysis as requested

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is required
• Experience working in a multi-task environment/multi-location environment/smaller public accounting firm with multiple clients
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Supervisory experience is a big plus
