This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Production Manager to join a leading manufacturing organization. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facilities to ensure that all production requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be a key player in driving the continuous improvement of our production processes, ensuring the highest levels of quality control, and managing our supply chain to maximize efficiency and productivity. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facilities to ensure that all production requirements are met.
  • Implement and manage effective quality control systems to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Manage our supply chain to ensure that materials and components are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our production processes and increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Conduct regular project management activities to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop strategic plans to drive the growth and development of our manufacturing operations.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that all production activities are aligned with our overall business objectives.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards and adhering to legal regulations.
  • Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Review worker performance and identify training needs.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, quality control, project management, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, process improvement, inventory management, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications in project management, lean manufacturing, or related fields are a plus.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest levels of health and safety standards.
