Accountant

CFS has partnered with a Grand Rapids area client who is looking to hire an Accountant. This role will be working directly with the Owners, our Accountant will be a key member of our professional team. We are looking for professional with proven track record of accomplishments and a hands-on-approach in a manufacturing environment.
The principal duties include the preparation of monthly financial reports (including analysis and comment), managing cost accounting activities, and overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and receipts. Will also administer employee benefits plans including health insurance and our 401(k) retirement plan.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 1-3 years accounting experience.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate information, predict the impact of possible solutions and recommend actions to support the goals of the Company.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to consistently produce accurate, high quality work.
- Must have a strong Microsoft Office skills background, particularly Excel.
