Overview of the Human Resources Generalist Role:
- Recruiting: screen and interview potential employees
- Manage Employee Relations
- Assist with enrolling employees with Compensation & Benefits
- Utilize an HRIS system to track employee records
- Establish and develop organizational culture
- Review employee engagement and satisfaction
- Handle labor relations including working with laws and unions
Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resources Generalist:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related degree
- Two years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Experience with a major payroll software is preferred
- HR Generalist needs the ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong communication and organization skills, able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
