Accounting Manager

Creative Financial Staffing has teamed up with a Private Real Estate Investment Firm in Boston to identify an Accounting Manager to join their team.

Responilities include but are not limited to:

• Review monthly and quarterly third-party property management reports to ensure compliance with the policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Confirm proper accrual accounting for expenses and their escalation and pass-through to tenants.
• Provide ongoing support to the Asset Managers and Manager for assigned portfolios.
• Act as a resource to third-party accountants in relevant accounting policies, procedures and systems including: cash collections and disbursements, accounts receivable monitoring, annual budget preparation, intercompany accounting and cash forecasting.
• Participate in the due diligence process for acquisitions which includes reviewing and preparing the acquisition and sale closing statements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required: Finance, business, or accounting preferred
• Must have 3+ years of real estate accounting experience
• Experience with fair value GAAP, tax accounting
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
