Accounting Assistant - AP/Payroll

Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with our mechanical engineering client located in Weymouth, MA to identify an Accounting Assistant, focusing on Accounts Payable and Payroll tasks.

• On a small accounting team, this position reports directly to the CFO
  

Responsibilities:

• Accounts payable processing invoices including vendor contact and issue resolution
  
• Managing weekly check runs
• Payroll for 50 employees through ADP
• Reconciling credit card bills
  
• Back-up for Accounts Receivable and Purchase Orders processing

Background Expected:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or experience equivalent
  
• 2+ years' experience in full-cycle Accounts Payable
  
• General accounting knowledge and understanding (GAAP)
