About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is a non-profit organization in Fairfax, VA whose focus is to strengthen communities in America.
• Due to a project, they are hiring a temporary Senior Accountant.
• Position is remote (first couple of days in office and then transitions to remote) and the schedule is Monday - Friday 37.5/hr work week. Laptop is provided.
• Pay is $40-43/hr - a great place to network, learn new software, and keep your skills alive!
• Duration: 3 weeks

Overview of the Staff Accountant role:

• Reconciliation Clean Up from April to Current - Bank, AR, Balance Sheet, Cash, etc.

Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years' accounting experience
• Non-profit experience is a must
• Sage Intacct is a plus
• Proficient in Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
