Responsibilities of the AP Specialist
  • Handling traditional AP tasks, including managing approximately 300 invoices per month.
  • Entering data for multiple credit cards.
  • Performing reconciliations, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Managing incoming mail and other administrative tasks related to accounts payable.
  • Processing vendor payments, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
  • Reviewing and resolving discrepancies or issues with vendor invoices.
  • Maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring timely payment.
  • Assisting with month-end close processes, including account reconciliations and reporting.
Preferred Requirements of the AP Specialist
  • 5-10 years of accounting experience (minimum).
  • Experience with 3-way match.
  • An Associate's degree in accounting is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse cultures and personalities.
