Web/Software Developer- 100% Remote role, need to be willing to work pacific/mountain time zone

Requirements:

•4 years of software development experience in analysis, design, development and integration of software products•6+ years development experience with Python/Java (including Junit framework)•3 years of experience on Infrastructure as code on AWS using Chef and Terraform and Serverless technologies like Lambda, step functions etc.•Expert knowledge on microservices, REST Based APIs, Endpoint Protection etc•Experience with UML/AWS architecture diagrams•Expert in Devops principles like CI/CD and test driven development (TDD)•Experience in deployment pipeline with Jenkins•Solid experience with SQL•Experience with JBoss or Payara.•Experience working with Agile methods and iterative development, such as Kanban, Extreme Programming (XP), pair programming, and/or SCRUM.•Experience with design patterns, refactoring and unit testing and object-oriented analysis/design.•Expert in non-SQL databases like DocumentDB, Mongo, Dynamo DB etc.•Knowledge of AWS monitoring systems•Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle•Good communication skills - must be strong enough for customer facing situations•Proven ability to meet deadlines and to successfully complete deliverables

General Description:This position is responsible to provide Python/Java webservices development support using serverless technologies like Lambda, including analyzing, designing, documenting, and implementing the components, software, and layers required for complex software implementations based on requirements and design specifications. All team members identify needs, estimate and commit to delivering on those functions, and track the status of those tasks to completion.Key Accountabilities and Priorities:•Analyze and understand end user and system requirements and assist in the design of software solutions•Understand and participate in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle activities including: estimating, planning, designing, coding, documenting and junits of software applications•Work closely with the Product Owner, Team Lead or any other person in charge of the team•Assist in analyzing, designing and developing new software applications including coding, junits, debugging and documenting programs in support of the Software Development Life Cycle•Support the technical leader on software development projects, as appropriate or as requested•Develop software using established best practices, design reviews, code reviews, use of code quality tools, mentor developers and escalate technical and other project risks related to project milestone dates.•Provide technical mentorship to project team members.•Follow change control processes while working within defined processes.•Work closely with the project team including the Product Owner, Project Manager and the Architect.•Work with Business Analysts and/or End Users to define, refine, document and review system functional specifications as well as software and hardware requirements.
