Our client, a local manufacturer in Lexington, is seeking an experienced and motivated
Information Technology Manager.
This rolewill be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that computing systems and equipment are operating effectively and efficiently. To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the industry’s best practices and evidence a professional track record of effective technical management, information analysis, and thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems.Primary ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Management: Virtualization (VMware ESXi), Windows Server administration, storage administration (SANs, backups), Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Entra), Active Directory and Group PolicyProject Management: Manage complex IT projects, including ERP upgrades, infrastructure refreshes, and new build outsERP Management: Syteline ERP and SQL Server management, including administration, upgrades, EDI, and BI reporting.Overseeing the annual IT budget and ensuring cost-effectivenessAdvocate for continuous security improvements and implements security best practicesEvaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup proceduresRemaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practicesRequired QualificationsProven experience managing infrastructure: virtualization, server, network and storage administrationBachelor’s or Associate degree in IT, CIS or or a related technical field preferred but work experience will be considered in lieu of degreeERP and SQL server management experienceManagement and leadership skillsMulti-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksHighly organized and detail-orientedExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsSalary and BenefitsPay Range $85,000 - $95,000 per yearBonus program401k with company matchEmployee Stock Ownership ProgramPaid time offHealth, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance100% tuition support
