Essential Job Functions:
Use scanner to locate materials and orders necessary to complete customer shipping orders.Transports products to designated areas.Ensures products being removed from areas have the appropriate label, tag, and meets quality standards.Completes raw material usage reports and inventory tickets.Weighs and records scrap material.Transports waste to designated areas.Assists in maintaining department in accordance with good housekeeping practices.Inspects and checks forklift for safe and proper operation.Completes forklift inspection forms.Observes all safety and environmental procedures.Performs other duties as requested by supervision.Job Qualifications:
Must be able to read and interpret work instructions.Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions like adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.High degree of attention required preventing injury to others.Ability to move or lift 50-pound wooden skid.Satisfactorily pass in-company forklift driver training program.Must be able to use a tape measure, and read to 1/16th of an inch.Must be flexible with lunches and breaks.Must be available to work overtime and Saturdays on an as needed basis.
