Essential Job Function

Inspects and checks forklift for safe and proper operation. Completes forklift inspection forms.

Provides associates with in process materials and supplies necessary to maintain production.

Transports finished products to designated areas.

Ensures products being removed from areas have the appropriate label, tag, color code dot and meets quality standards.

Completes raw material usage reports and inventory tickets.

Weighs and records scrap material. Transports waste to designated areas. Compacts, bails and prepares scrap for shipment.

Compacts, bails and prepares cardboard for shipment.

Assists in maintaining department in accordance with good housekeeping practices.

Observes all safety and environmental procedures.

Performs other duties as requested by supervision.

Job Qualifications

Ability to read, write and perform basic math.

High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others.

Ability to move or lift 50 pound wooden skid.

Satisfactorily pass in-company forklift driver training program.

This job uses forklift, bailers, utility knife, cordless drill, screwdriver, wrench and pliers.
