**Job Description:**- Required to work every other weekend- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state- Knowledge and experience in the following areas:- Admission Criteria (InterQual)- Drug/Alcohol Abuse Treatment Options- Patients experiencing homelessness- Patients with mental health history or in crisis- Advance directives and POLST- Adoption/Foster care processes- Organizing and participating in family meetings- Experience with HMOs and IPAs- Arranging DME, SNF, and ambulance transport independently- Participating in the development of treatment plans- Protective services process- Orientation includes 40 non-billable hours- Completes required modules pre-start and annually, with time spent being self-reported and recorded- If communication devices are required, they will be provided or compensated
