Quality Inspector (CMM Required)

Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Westford, MA to bring on a Quality Inspector with CMM experience. This is a full-time position. Pay: $30-$40 an hour depending on experienceShift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, OT may be available Position: Quality Inspector Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector with a strong machine shop background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and a passion for ensuring high-quality standards in manufacturing. If you have a keen eye for detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts using CMM, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.Program and operate CMM equipment to perform dimensional checks and generate inspection reports.Review blueprints and technical documentation to understand part specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements.Utilize various measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part dimensions and characteristics.Identify non-conformities and communicate findings effectively to relevant team members.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation for traceability and compliance.Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a culture of safety in the workplace.Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a machine shop environment.Proficient in CMM operation and programming, with a strong understanding of measurement principles.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Familiarity with various measuring tools and quality inspection methods.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Proficient in computer applications related to quality control and data management.Education and Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection within a machining environment.Experience with CMM programming and operation.High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.If you are interested in this position, please apply to this posting with an updated resume!
