Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Rehab - Inpatient Rehabilitation Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: Weekly guaranteed hours of 36, with the potential to be called off up to 3 times due to low census Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Experience with EPIC and a background in rehab or at least acute care Job Description: - Work within a 50-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility.- Provide care for patients recovering from stroke, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions requiring inpatient rehabilitative services.- Help patients achieve their highest level of recovery with the goal of returning home as soon as possible.- Engage in specialized programs designed to maximize health, function, and quality of life.- Facility is accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for the Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program.- No on-call requirements; weekend hours required every other weekend.- Patient ratios are typically 6 to 1.- First-day reporting time is 8 AM; scrub color is any.- Interact with a patient population composed of adults and geriatrics.- Collaborate with a supervisor named Abby upon arrival.Please note that all interested candidates should have a personality fit suitable for a dynamic and healing-focused environment.
