We are seeking a talented and experienced Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, improving, and maintaining our company's IT systems. This role involves providing technical support, managing system updates, implementing new technologies, and ensuring the secure and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of O365, Windows, VMware, Microsoft Exchange, and Virtualization. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  2. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  3. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies to protect the company's data and IT infrastructure.
  4. Provide technical support and guidance to users, resolving any hardware or software issues.
  5. Manage and coordinate updates and upgrades to systems infrastructure.
  6. Evaluate and implement new technologies to optimize and improve infrastructure performance.
  7. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  8. Maintain a deep understanding of the company's IT infrastructure to provide accurate and efficient solutions to any issues.
  9. Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
  10. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to ensure the smooth operation of the IT department.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
  2. Proven experience with O365, Windows, VMware, Microsoft Exchange, and Virtualization.
  3. Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
  4. Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl, or other languages.
  5. Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  7. Ability to manage multiple priorities, commitments, and projects.
  8. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
  9. Professional certification in Microsoft, VMware, or similar technologies is a plus.
  10. A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related qualification is preferred.
