Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Ensure accuracy and completeness of the general ledger
Prepare comprehensive financial statements:
Monthly reports
Quarterly analyses
Annual financial documents
Perform detailed Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Accounts Management
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes:
Review and post sales transactions
Process cash receipts batches
Enter general ledger entries
Manage vendor payments and customer collections effectively
Compliance and Auditing
Ensure regulatory compliance:
Oversee tax filings
Complete annual census requirements
Support internal and external audits:
Provide necessary documentation
Facilitate review processes
Monitor compliance with company financing arrangements
Financial Planning and Analysis
Contribute to financial planning:
Assist in annual budget preparation
Support forecasting activities
Participate in long-term financial planning
Perform variance analysis:
Compare actual performance against budgets
Prepare management reports highlighting key variances
