ECU Health Medical Center, one of four academic medical centers in North Carolina, is the 974-bed flagship hospital for ECU Health and serves as the primary teaching hospital for The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Position Summary

$7500 Sign-On Bonus
  • Assumes 24 hour accountability for assuring patient safety and quality of care.
  • Responsible for staff orientation and development plans to promote personal and professional development of staff.
  • Responsible for development of Quality Assurance Program which reflects department scope of service and implementation of strategies which will assure quality care delivery.
  • Analyzes monthly budget report and justifies any areas of discrepancy and effectively control costs through economical utilization of human and material resources.
  • Analyzes information and accurately forecasts future program needs.
  • Participates in the formulation, implementation, and enforcement of hospital, and departmental policies, procedures, and standards. Contributes to and develops divisional goals which complement institutional goals.
  • Supports clinical research activities and shares knowledge and expertise with peers and employees through formal and informal educational activities.
  • Identifies individual situations or patterns which relate to risk management or quality of care concerns and follows the proper chain of command to assure resolutions.
Minimum Requirements
  • Associate Degree or higher is required.
  • ARRT or ARDMS certification required
  • Five to seven years related experience is required.
Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor degree preferred
