Purpose
of the Position:

The Program Manager/Director position is responsible for designing,
planning and driving execution of large, complex, cross-functional programs at
Broadway Bank, in direct support of the Bank's strategic priorities. The Program Manager/Director role will
provide governance oversight to the delivery of projects contained within an
assigned program, and act as an advocate and escalation point for impediments
within the delivery of the program. Role
requires frequent interaction with executive level leadership in all areas of
the business, as well as partnership with key business team stakeholders. Program planning and scheduling, sound
financial management, transparent organizational impact and change management,
speed of delivery and sponsorship alignment are pillars of success for this
role.

The role will be responsible for partnering with the leadership
team in defining the desired "go to" end state and proactively identifying,
planning and directing the work which would need to be completed to transform
into that state. The role would need to
understand the company's strategic priorities (e.g., evolving the brand,
transforming the infrastructure, executing digital transformation strategies,
and reinventing the customer experience) in order to successfully create plans
to meet the objectives and deliver the expected value. The successful candidate for this role will
be able to work well across all lines of business and key stakeholders to
formulate strategies, plans, timelines, deliverables and desired outcomes for
the successful execution of multi-year strategic programs.

Key Accountabilities:

Value
Delivery

  • Directs all aspects of strategic programs from inception to launch for Broadway Bank
  • Develop and manage relationships with executive leaders relative to the assigned programs, becoming a trusted solutions broker
  • Partners with stakeholders to define program objectives, focusing on aligning projects to deliver value in support of strategic vision and business priorities
  • Accountable for achieving business objectives and results as defined success criteria for assigned program

Program
Planning & Governance

  • Establishes a program planning process to align business needs with annual budgeting cycles
  • Through partnership with executives, key stakeholders and team peers, the Program Manager/Director continually builds awareness of overall strategic direction of Broadway Bank lines of business, in order to manage cross-program and cross-project opportunities, dependencies and conflicts
  • Implements and promotes effective Program Management discipline so projects within the program can be executed to achieve efficient, timely, and cost-effective outcomes
  • Manges and/or monitors execution of projects within the program in order to support project team in successfully delivering business value, on time and on schedule
  • As part of the ImpACT Demand Management process, develops high-level assessment artifacts related to schedule, budget, scope and resources
  • Plans for program risk and
    develops strategies for dealing with potential risks, as well as managing
    realized risks/
  • Maintains overall program budget and ensures resources are appropriately allocated
  • Maintains program artifacts throughout the life of the project, as well as governs the management of relevant project-level artifacts.

Team Leadership

  • Leads, provides guidance to, and motivates cross-functional team members (both internal and external) to ensure goal achievement and team success across projects and the overall program
  • Drives the implementation of multiple, highly complex program initiatives requiring confidentiality and bank-wide visibility to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives
  • Promotes an environment of empowered teamwork, collaboration, and partnership across lines of business and throughout the Bank

Communication

  • Proactively communicates program's progress and status at the appropriate level, from executive leadership to project team members on an on-going basis
  • Develops metrics/reports to track and communicate individual project(s) and overall program progress relative to established goals and objectives. Obtains buy-in and implements tracking of relevant project-level metrics & reporting
  • Ensures consistent visibility for program and project teams by monitoring and reporting business objectives, program achievements, and key success indicators.
  • Keeps all stakeholders (internal & external) engaged in the program execution, aligned on expected outcomes and informed about what is occurring across the program

Vendor Management

  • Has a thorough understanding of vendor management activities to include managing multiple internal and external parties, and can drive business results on-time, on budget, and with appropriate communication to all levels of stakeholders.
  • Assists with the assessment & selection of vendors & associated resources. In conjunction with procurement, manages the negotiation for vendor third-party contracts
  • Designs and governs processes for managing deliverables from external consultants or vendors
  • Ensures terms and conditions of applicable contracts are enforced and/or managed

Broadway Corporate Citizen

  • Independently researches, plans, develops, implements, and administers rules, requirements, procedures, contracts, and processes to ensure compliance, competitiveness, profitable growth and adherence to BNB policy.
  • Follows local, state and federal legislation and regulatory issues and changes relating to banking.
  • Represents the bank in the community, and projects a positive image for the bank as a stable, sound, profitable and expanding financial institution.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in project management or at least 5 years in program management, working with executives, cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating people and resources
  • Experience developing a strategy and implementing large company-wide programs
  • Proven track record of delivering programs and support for associated projects on time and at or under budget
  • Financial industry
    experience or experience managing large programs with budgets more than $5M

Education Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in project management or at least 5 years in program management, working with executives, cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders, and coordinating people and resources
  • Experience developing a strategy and implementing large company-wide programs
  • Proven track record of
    delivering programs and support for associated projects on time and at or under
    budget
  • Financial industry
    experience or experience managing large programs with budgets more than $5M

Education Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree from an accredited University w/ emphasis in Business, Finance and/or Accounting or equivalent industry experience
  • Possesses a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent in relevant area of specialty
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS
    Project, Excel, PowerPoint and other project management software

Other
Qualifications:

  • Possesses a Program Management certification or equivalent in relevant area of specialty
  • Strong proficiency with technology
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate conclusions into strategic recommendations
  • A self-starter with excellent analytical and reasoning skills, excellent communication skills, demonstrated presentation skills, and an ability to meet deadlines with high quality standards and strong organizational skills
  • Desire to learn more about the operations of the banking business including employee services, building operations, and move planning (becoming a "generalist")

Other
Requirements:

  • This position is currently located in San Antonio, but opportunities to house in other footprints exists.
  • 25% or less travel within
    Broadway footprint.
