Job Overview:
- Dates of Coverage:
- 24hr call Sat/Sun
- OR
- Friday 5p-Monday 8a coverage for the weekend.
- ASAP - Ongoing
- Details:
- 24-hour S/S coverage, periodic night and weeknight coverage (5p-8a)
- Setting: Acute care hospital with Level II Trauma Designation and Thrombectomy-capable Stroke Center designation. NIR services for stroke are provided by a hospital-contracted NIR group and are not part of the locum IR job.
- Duties: Emergency call coverage for IR services for weekends and holidays, may include Friday PM call (5pm-8am). Also includes supervision of procedures using fluoroscopy (non-OR procedures).

- Hospital department Radiology Techs, no APP (PA) support staff for IR services.

- Must adhere to Sedation/Analgesia Protocols (for Adult & Pediatrics)

- Biopsies
- Fluoroscopy
- US or CT Guidance
- FNA or Core Breast Localization
- Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiography
- Percutaneous Antegrade Pyelography
- Lymphangiography
- Abscess Drainages
- Cyst/Fluid Aspirations
- HSG Percutaneous Transhepatic Biliary Drainage
- Percutaneous Nephrostomy Tube Placement
- Percutaneous Transhepatic Cystostomy
- Percutaneous Stone Extractions
- Percutaneous Transhepatic Biliary Dilation/Stent Placement
