Our Cordella Heart Failure System (CHFS) includes proactive management tools for best practice care and detection of worsening heart failure. WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Human Resources Director (Business Partner-Commercial) will lead a variety of HR department initiatives and contribute to the company's growth and success. As the HRBP for the commercial team, the Human Resources Director will act as a strategic partner to support leaders and employees by delivering HR solutions that drive business performance, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This role will serve as a key facilitator of services of the Centers of Excellence to the team. The Human Resources Director will have a strong background in both strategic and operational HR, with proven leadership skills and a passion for driving organizational excellence. This role will serve as a partner to the Senior Vice President, Human Resources to manage the integration into the Edwards Lifesciences organization and prepare the organization for accelerated growth.

Collaborate with the Edwards Centers of Excellence to ensure development and management of Endotronix HR programs in the following areas are aligned:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company's vision, mission, and goals. Collaborate with senior leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Talent Management: Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new employees. Oversee retention, and development of top talent. Create and execute strategies for succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement.
  • Performance Management: Design and manage performance management systems that promote a culture of continuous feedback, recognition, and growth. Develop programs to enhance employee productivity and performance.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture by developing and maintaining strong employee relations programs. Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, motivate, and retain talent. Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure alignment with market trends and company goals.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Mitigate risks by developing and enforcing policies, procedures, and practices that promote a safe and fair work environment.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Lead DEI initiatives to create a diverse and inclusive workplace. Develop and implement strategies to enhance diversity in recruitment, retention, and organizational culture.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and cultural transformation. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees through periods of change.
  • HR Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including HRIS management, reporting, and analytics. Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the HR department budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in a public, medical device company
  • Experience in strategic HR planning, talent management, and organizational development
  • Proven ability to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Proven experience with formal change management efforts
  • Experience in leading DEI initiatives
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday preferred), data analysis, and reporting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred.
