We value work-life balance and offer a flexible corporate office environment.This role is based out of our corporate office in Lexington, KY.The Business Data Analyst at The Beaufort Bonnet Company partners closely with the Senior Manager of Financial Analysis to drive strategic initiatives that optimize business systems and processes. This role provides functional expertise in enterprise-wide system management and issue resolution, while supporting cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making.Data Analysis and Reporting:Leverage Microsoft Power BI to develop dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights into critical business metrics.Track and evaluate margin performance, collaborating with the Product team to create scenario plans that drive margin improvements.Analyze sales reports, identifying trends and providing strategic recommendations to boost business growth.Produce, distribute, and interpret weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports on in-season style selling and post-season performance for the DTC channel.Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to create both standard and ad hoc reports for DTC channel and sales performance.Business Systems Management:Oversee and optimize business systems including Exenta, Shopify, Stocky, SAP, and BPC to improve operational efficiency and data integrity.Develop and maintain reporting tools that enhance visibility into business profitability and performance across all departments.Become a subject matter expert in key software and systems, managing testing, releases, and troubleshooting activities.Provide system training for new hires and ongoing training on new functionalities for existing users.Resolve system issues, such as Exenta error codes and inventory discrepancies, to ensure seamless operations.Manage outdated and negative inventory, including unfulfilled orders, past warehouse data, and inventory metrics requiring cycle counts.Financial Planning and Analysis:Assist in the development of the annual budget, reforecasting, and long-term strategic planning.Develop and monitor key financial reports for presentation to location management and the parent company.Create and maintain scorecards to assess financial performance against budgets and forecasts.Contribute to the enhancement of department reporting, analysis, and forecasting tools.You will love this job if you...Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.Are detail-oriented with excellent collaboration skills.Have a strong appetite to help a business grow.Anticipate challenges and can confidently problem solve.Are versatile, flexible, and willing to work with changing priorities, assignments, and/or customers.Who we would like to meet:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.Generally, 3-4 years of relevant experience; experience related to information systems preferred.Experience with Power BI.What happens next?If you are interested in this opportunity please apply!
